He held a degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Trieste, Italy, in 1997. He collaborates with CNR-ISMAR of Ancona since 1992, being involved in several aspects of biology and ecology of artificial structures (artificial reefs and gas platforms), small scale fisheries and set gears selectivity. From 1997 to 2008 he worked at CNR-ISMAR of Ancona (temporary scientist contracts) and in 2009 he had a permanent contract as scientist. He participated to field activities both scuba diving and aboard fishing and research vessels. Since 1998 he is member of the Italian Society of Marine Biology and since 2005 he is member of the Italian Biometric Society. | |
