A little investigation is made concerning the natural fluorescence and the chlorinity of interstitial water in the bottom of the western part of the Dutch Wadden Sea in the spring- summer situation. The results are compared with the results of the study of the summer situation by van Geldermalsen (1977-12) and of the winter situation by Zondervan (1978-1).
