Deze studie is uitgevoerd in het kader van het Europese Interreg IVB NWE project ‘FloodResilienCity’ (FRC). Dit project gaat na hoe goed we verstedelijkte centra langs rivieren in Noordwest-Europa kunnen beschermen tegen overstromingen. Veel infrastructuur in de stedelijke centra is daar momenteel onvoldoende tegen bestand en zo’n bescherming is niet altijd makkelijk realiseerbaar. We trachten hiervoor een passende aanpak te ontwikkelen en weerbaarder (‘resilient’) te worden tegen overstromingen.
