Dit platform verschaft informatie en kennis omtrent de WL expertisedomeinen 'hydraulica en sediment', 'havens en waterwegen', 'waterbouwkundige constructies', 'waterbeheer' en 'kustbescherming' - gaande van WL medewerkers met hun expertise, het curriculum van deze instelling, tot publicaties, projecten, data (op termijn) en evenementen waarin het WL betrokken is.

Vibrocorer
Beschrijving 2016.01.20 De vibrocorer werd succesvol getest, dat kan je zien aan de blijde gezichten! De vibrocorer wordt gebruikt voor het nemen van bodemkernen. Met een hoge trillingsfrequentie wordt een PVC-buis in de bodem gebracht door middel van een kerncilinder. Het VLIZ beschikt over een systeem dat kernen kan nemen van 3-meter lang met een diameter van 96 mm. De vibrocorer is het ideale instrument om onverstoorde bodemkernen te bestuderen van een relatief grote lengte.
