Description 1945. De Adolf BUYLSTRAAT. In mei 1940 werd de handelszaak A LA VILLE DE LONDRES (toen gelegen op de hoek van de Kapellestraat en de Ooststraat) door bommen verwoest. De winkel werd toen overgebracht naar de Adolf Buylstraat in het gebouw waar thans de lederwarenzaak MARLIE gevestigd is.
