Abstract: |
EMBRC France is a National French Infrastructure in the field of Marine Biology, Ecology and Blue Biotechnology, funded for 10 years with a budget of 16 million Euros, associating three major Marine Laboratories (Roscoff, Banyuls and Villefranche). Marine research stations provide key equipment, expertise, resources and information that serve to develop a deeper understanding of the marine biodiversity and related processes. One of the objective of EMBRC-Fr is to become a dynamic actor in a "knowledge industry”, fostering innovation in the field of blue biotechnologies and biomedical science. By becoming the axis of the knowledge triangle (education – research – innovation) in marine biology in France, EMBRC-Fr will be a leverage tool for regional and national growth. |
