Through a VLIR-UOS PhD grant, Joey Genevieve T. Martinez is currently investigating nematodes as indicators of pollution in small-scale mining or artisanal mining in the Philippines. He is also looking into the response of nematodes during soil recovery in rehabilitated mine sites in his country. Currently, he is a staff at Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, Iligan City, Philippines. | |
