Claudette Spiteri, Dr. in Environmental Geochemistry with a main research focus on water pollution and implications on coastal and marine areas. She has considerable experience in water quality and ecological issues and a strong technical expertise in the application of numerical models in integrated coastal and marine assessments. She is currently involved in various EU projects dealing with the multidisciplinary integration of marine issues and is responsible for the coordination of EU projects and proposals within the Marine and Coastal Systems Unit.
