The project aims at - implementing and applying molecular techniques to quantify microbial diversity - determining the lower borderline of microbial diversity in relation to stress parameters - estimating the homeostasis of microbial ecosystems based on parameters of the Gompertz model - providing tools to restore microbial diversity in aquatic systems
