Abstract
Normally natural sediments show a cohesive or partly-cohesive behaviour which is stronghly dependant on the rheological characteristics of the material under concern. As erosion, transport and sedimentation processes are directly coupled to the hydrodynamics, it is also important to study the flow characteristics. The cooperation between the three partners must lead to a better understanding of the physical phenomena and to their mathematical description.
