| Abstract |
The draft plan contains the following subjects :
1. Description of physical, historical and biotic aspects;
2. Vegetation analysis and vegetation map;
3. Nature management goals;
4. Nature management tools;
5. Nature management measures on specific locations.
The study should extend the existing knowledge on the estuarine exosystem with a vegetation map of the Durme, an actualisation of the existing vegetation map of the Schelde, height measurements of mudflats and tidal marshes, geological and geomorphological description of intertidal areas, history and former land use of the alluvial plain and existing and possible management tools of the estuarine ecosystem. |
