Abstract |
The name “Scaldit” is made up of “Scaldis”, the Latin name for the river Scheldt, and Integrated Testing, which refers to the testing of the guidance documents of the WFD. The full name of the project is: “From collective testing to a transnational analysis of the international river basin district of the Scheldt as a basis for a transnational integrated water management for a cleaner and safer Scheldt.”Scaldit is a transnational project, focussing on the entire river basin district of the river Scheldt, which covers three countries (France, Belgium and the Netherlands). The Scaldit project is at the same time one of the 15 Pilot River Basins (Scheldt PRB) and an Interreg IIIB NWE project. |
