Abstract |
Nowadays, the management of marine systems often goes through the use of computerized models. However, these tools are often restricted to specialists. TIVS is a newly developed system of programs which intends to give either specialists or non-specialists access to these powerful means of investigation. In this paper we describe the scope of TIVS and, particularly, its marine part. A study case showing the potentialities of the system is also discussed. |
