Abstract
    Two large ichthyosaurs, discovered in Sinemurian layers in the vicinity of Arlon (Belgian Lorraine), are described in detail. These specimens are attributed to Temnodontosaurus platyodon (CONYBEARE, 1822). The palaeogeographical distribution of this species is consequently enlarged.
