| Abstract |
On the basis of the hydrological context, an optimal sarnpling network bas been set up to obtain a synoptic picture of temperature. Salinity, nutrients, chlorophyll and zooplankton distributions in the Southem Bight of the North Sea. The data confirm the general tendency of isolines to be para11el to the coast. The plankton distribution shows the influence of Scheldt water farer to the south-west than proposed by previous models and observations. |
