| Abstract: |
The Cluster for the Management of Amphihaline Migratory Birds in their Environment (MIAME) brings together four organizations (OFB, INRAE, the Agro Institute, and the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour), with 39 permanent staff members participating at the national level in 2022. The work has an operational vocation for the management of this remarkable biodiversity of fish and macrocrustaceans, as well as the continental, estuarine, and marine ecosystems that support it, in mainland France and overseas. On this topic, the missions concern research and development, expertise, the management of national observatories, knowledge centralization, the development of pilot sites, innovation transfer, and training. The Cluster is subject to a public-public cooperation agreement between the constituent organizations, which covers the period 2019-2024. |
