Dr. Steven Campana is a Senior Scientist at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Canada and an Adjunct Professor at both Dalhousie University and the University of Windsor. He directs an active research program in fish population dynamics, with particular emphasis on the development of new technologies in support of age determination, stock discrimination, shark population dynamics and fish tracking. He currently heads both the Canadian Shark Research Laboratory and the Otolith Research Laboratory, leads a number of interdisiplinary multinational projects, and has published more than 200 primary and technical scientific papers. | |
