Abstract
Two data driven models (Species assembly rules and Artificial Neural Networks) will be used to analyse (1) which parameters define meiobenthic communities on a large geographical scale, (2) the importance of local varying parameters in a small geographical area and (3) the importance of biological interactions for the resulting community. This will result in a predictive model, useful in biomonitoring.
