Abstract
The project aims at enlarging the domain of BCCM (Belgian Coördinated Collections of Micro-organisms), by adding 3 unique collections of interesting micro-organisms present in Belgian research institutes. Taking advantage of the acquired expertise of BCCM, these local research collections will be able to evolve to public service BRCs (Biological Resource Centres), offering biological material as well as associated scientific data.
