Abstract
De intertidale en subtidale wiervegetaties van de verschillende ecosystemen van de Socotra Archipel worden onderzocht. De initiële stappen zijn gericht op de determinatie en de systematiek van de bemonsterde wieren. Nadien zullen de gemeenschapsstructuur en de seizoenaliteit van de macrowiervegetaties van Socotra en het Arabische Schiereiland vergeleken worden.
