| The aim of this project is to bring together expertise relevant to develop novel technologies and applications of microalgae. The project aims on the one hand on developing new, cost-efficient technologies for downstream processing of algal biomass (harvesting, cell disruption and extraction). On the other, we aim at developing new, high-value applications of algae as pharmaceuticals and neutraceuticals. |
