| Abstract |
Het doel van dit project (voorspelling mbv CFD van scheepsweerstand op modelschaal en ware grootte) valt binnen het breder onderzoek van projecten 23_028 (Zulu X-barge), 24_008 (CHER - confined shallow efficiency & resistance tooling) en 24_022 (phd - resistance and propulsion) waar oa de weerstand op ware grootte van binnenvaart schepen bepaalt dient te (of zal) worden. Door deel te nemen aan deze workshop, zullen we in staat zijn om een nauwkeurigheid te plakken op de voorspellingen v berekende CFD weerstand op verschillende schalen. Zonder deelname kunnen we voor 23_028 nog steeds de rompweerstand bepalen mbv CFD op verschillende schalen, en daarmee een extrapolatie curve bepalen voor de gemeten waarden op modelschaal, maar zonder enige zekerheid dat wat we doen, ook correct is (of hoe correct het is).
