Abstract
The sea-lock "Berendrecht" presently under construction at the Port of Antwerp (Belgium), is the largest sea-lock in the world. It is of the classical deep-founded type, with independent quay-walls and drained floor slabs in its chamber and with two rolling gates of the wheelbarrow type in each lock head. The following contribution describes the general features of the project.
