| Abstract |
The intensity-duration-frequency relationship of the point precipitation at the station ofUccle/Ukkel is studied, using the charts of the Hellmann-Fuess recording precipitation gauge for the 50 years reference period 1934-1983.
For the frequency analysis the annual maximum series approach was used in conjunction with the Gumbel distribution function. Intensity-duration (containing the return period T implicitly intensity-duration-frequency (containing T explicitly) curves based on the observed values are proposed; the results are presented under several aspects. |
