Abstract
On October 17th 2013, an international measurement campaign on the Albert Canal at Kanne-Vroenhoven (B) took place with hydrometrists from the Flemish HIC, Dutch RWS and Walloon SETHY. The aim was to compare by means of simultaneous measurements the results produced by the calibration ADP-instruments of all three institutes and to favor best-practices and knowledge exchange.

After a former measurement campaign (river Meuse/Maastricht 20/11/2012), focus was now on measuring discharges at low velocities. Each group deployed a trimaran mounted RDI- instrument, while RWS additionnally brought into action the "Observant", a small manned and ADP-equipped measuring vessel.

This report compares all measured discharge data to the simultaneous 10 sec. discharge data produced by the Kanne acoustic flowmeter (ADM).
