'De Grote Rede' is een informatieblad over de Vlaamse kust en aangrenzende zee uitgegeven door het Vlaams Instituut voor de Zee (VLIZ). Deze uitgave wil informatie aanbieden en opinies aan bod laten komen i.v.m. actuele thema's aansluitend bij het concept 'geïntegreerd kustzonebeheer'. 'De Grote Rede' wordt opgesteld door een zelfschrijvende redactie van dynamische krachten, met ervaring in de onderzoekswereld of met het kustzonebeleid, en gerekruteerd uit verschillende disciplines en onderzoeksvelden.
