Abstract
    This document discusses the actvities that have been performed to validate various functionalities of the COHERENS modeling system. Specifically the following aspects have been considered:

    1. Hydrodynamics;
    2. Inundation schemes;
    3. Structures;
    4. Additional boundary conditions;
    5. Sediment transport;
    6. Morphology;
    Each of these topics is presented in a self-contained way.
