Abstract
Freshly hatched nauplii from reference Artemia and from 3 other Artemia strains were tested for their effects on survival, growth and reproductive characteristics of the crustacean Mysidopsis bahia (M.). The reference, French (Lavalduc) and Chinese (Tientsin) strains produced significantly better results for all criteria tested than the Canadian strain (Chaplin Lake). Results are discussed together with those reported for other predators.
