Abstract
There is no significant difference in the locations that causes a difference in the respirationrates based on statistical analysis. (introduction question 1) Including more sites since thereare only two sites with both the 25m and 200m location could give more information. Thedifference in across sites, leaving location aside, are noticeable. Especially the Zandkreek siteshows a great influx in oxygen whereas Rattekaai and Dortsman seem to be in the samerange of respiration rate.Nutrients NH4, NO2, NO3 seem to have an influence on the fluxes of the nutrients taking sitein consideration. (introduction question 2) The location did not seem to cause differences inthe fluxes. PO4 and DSi are not influenced by the site nor location. Taking samples at moresites would give more inside on the fluxes.Grainsize shows to have an influence on the respiration rates, this is a physical factor thatcauses differences in respiration rates.
