Prof. Christensen has been involved in several research programs funded by Danish and European agencies, such as SASME, DELOS, FIELD_AC. Is currently DTU-MEK’s responsible for the Research corporation FMK (Marine Structures of the Future).Until recently he was Head of Innovation for Marin Infrastructure and Energy at DHI (Participant no. 5) until he was appointed Professor in Hydraulic and Coastal Eng. at DTU. Have more than 30 international publications in Journals and conference proceedings. He has been project manager and project supervisor for numerous consultancy projects at his time as DHI, latest as Task-manager for substructure
optimisation for a fixed link over Fehmarn Belt; a complex study with field measurements, physical model experiments and supercomputing carried out by around 30 project staff. | |
