Juan José Cruz is a biologist from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela. He holds a M.S. degree in Tropical Marine Biology from James Cook University and a Ph.D. in Science from the University of Sydney, Australia. He is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Environmental Studies, Universidad Simón Bolívar, where he teaches General Ecology and Experimental Design. He is responsible for the coordination of the Natural Geography in Shore Areas (NaGISA) project for the Caribbean and his research focuses on rocky shore ecology. | |
