| The Deurganckdock container dock is expected to induce significant container traffic between the left bank and the right bank of the river Scheldt in the port of Antwerp. The current hinterland transportation modes might not be able to accommodate this increase in container traffic. This research project is a pre-feasibility study to explore the potential of an underground container transport system for moving containers between both river banks. |
