| Abstract |
| A calculation procedure will be developed, on which the admission policy for ships to the Scheurpas channel can be based. This procedure will be based on the experimental determination of the vertical motions of four characteristic ship types in a normal speed range in regular waves and in high risk irregular wave conditions. A statistical study will lead to the probability of bottom contact. |
