| Abstract |
The objective of the study is to evaluate the distribution of trace elements (Cr, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb) between the dissolved and particular phases in the estuary of the Scheldt. Secondly, we will study the transfer speeds of these elements between these two phases, using radioactive tracers in incubation experiments with water from the Scheldt, devoting particular attention to the role of biological activity on these transfer processes.
The ultimate objective is to evaluate the springs, wells and flows of these metals in the estuarine system. |
