| Abstract |
The discovery of a formation similar to London Clay and Ieper Clay south of the Artois horst leads us to minimize its paleogeographic influence in favour of transversal structures. The "Artois Axis", at the lower Ypresian, cannot be considered any longer as a main boundary between the Paris Basin and the nordic Basin. |
