Abstract
Several specimens of Copidognathus nautilei sp. nov. were collected on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge from the 14 degree 45'N area. The species is described. C. nautilei demonstrates an overall resemblance to C. papillatus, a species recorded from hydrothermal vent fields in the east Pacific.
