Giorgio Bellotti (1973) has PhD in Maritime Hydraulics (2002) and carries out research since 1996. He is assistant professor of Coastal Engineering since 2006 at the University of Rome Tre. Participated the funded projects DELOS and CLASH, and several national research projects about maritime structures. He is expert of long/short waves measurement, has carried out few large scale experiments on tsunamis generated by landslides, has developed several numerical/analytical models for the simulation of the nearshore hydrodynamics and the interaction between waves and structures. He is author of more than 60 international scientific papers
