Abstract |
The integrated coastal safety master plan (Afdeling Kust, 2011) has been approved by the Flemish government to realize protections against extreme storm events. However, the present coastal defenses in the Flemish coast do not fully satisfy these criteria. One of the weak links in the Flemish coast is Raversijde-Mariakerke-Wellington West zone (Zone 97-108). In this project, design of coastal safety measure is investigated. |
