| Abstract |
The seventh Consultative Committee Meeting on Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs) was held on 5-6 June 2005. The consultaion was convened by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, the US department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the World Conservation Union (IUCN). It was hosted by IOC at UNESCO's headquarters, Paris, France. The meeting was co-chaired by the IOC Executive Secretatry, Dr Patricio Bernal and Dr Kenneth Sherman of NOAA. The meeting agenda is given in Annex I and a list of attendees in Annex II. |
