This is the first time this unique private collection has been presented in a scholarly publication. An extensive introduction initiates the reader into the world of Ensor's prints. In addition to the color illustrations, supplementary unpublished information is provided on newly established dates, major print auctions and a list of prints published during Ensor's lifetime. Every print illustrated is accompanied by an exhaustive scholarly description. |
