In the small collection of pelagic Tunicates from the Eylath Gulf considered in this paper are only concerned five species of Salpae (Brooksia rostrata Traustedt, pr. sol., Ritteriella amboinensis Apstein, pr. sol., Salpa maxima Forskal, pr. greg., Salpa cylindrica Cuvier, pr. sol. and pr. greg., Thalia democratica Forskal, var. orientalis, pr. sol. and pr. greg., and three species of Doliolum (old nurses of D. mülleri Krohn, old nurses, phorozoïds and gonozoïds of D. denticulatum Quoy et Gaymard, nurses, phorozoïds and gonozoïds of D. gegenbauri var. tritonis Herdman, two of these phorozoïds carrying wellgrown buds). No pyrosome is present. |
