PhD Karsten Bolding is partner and director in Bolding & Burchard ApS (BB). He has a M.Sc. In Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from the Technical University of Denmark. From 1991-1997, he worked at the research department of DMI (Danish Meteorological Institute) on storm-surge prediction and data assimilation. In Nov 1997, he joined the Danish Hydraulic Institute to work on consultancy and parallelisation. From 1998 to 2002 Dr. Karsten Bolding was working at the Joint Research Centre in Ispra (Italy) on turbulence modelling and measurements. Since 2002 he has been working full time in BB from the office in Asperup (Denmark).
