Karl Iver Dahl-Madsen is a chemical engineer, who since May 2008 has been president of Dansk Akvakultur, which is the association of the Danish fish, shellfish & seaweed farmers. He has formerly among other been director of Danish Aquaculture Institute, head of the Departments of Ecology & Ecological Modeling at DHI Water, Environment & Health and Associate Professor at Asian Institute of Technology, Dep. of Environmental Engineering. He is furthermore vice president of AquaCircle, the association of the Danish aquaculture industry suppliers. He is an expertise in location planning & EIA of seafarm facilities.
