Sigve Nordrum (born 1964) works as a Senior Vice President in Aker BioMarine Antarctic AS (since 2007). Aker BioMarine is an integrated biotechnology company, positioned to create value derived krill biotech products. The company is supplying BioMarine ingredients through the value chain from raw materials to customers. Nordrum is heading one of the business units in the company and is managing the company’s extensive sustainability program. Apart from this, Dr. Nordrum is currently chairing the Aquaculture program in the Research Council of Norway. Previously, he has been working as a Senior Advisor in the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal affairs. He has also worked for several years in the Norwegian aquaculture industry as a scientist and R&D manager. Dr. Nordrum holds a PhD from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science and has published several papers on digestive physiology in fish. | |
