Abstract
    The authors have realized an electrophoretic study of the muscular proteins in six species of Raja. Each species presents an electrophoregram and a densimetric curve characteristic and distinct from each other. This technique has allowed the clear differentiation of three species (R. polystigma, R. montagui and R. brachyura) problematical and often confused in the literature.
